We can say that after all the attempts of the Israeli entity over the past two or three years, we have reached a stage in which the project has broken. This does not mean that they will not try again or that there will not be other stages, but there was a big project called ending Hezbollah militarily, politically, culturally, socially, and humanly, and eliminating its presence and the presence of all those with it on the path to Greater Israel. This project has been broken.” He added: “Now they need a long period of time to try to return. They can or they cannot, so let them try their luck, but I say that we are in the stage of breaking the Israeli project.” He stressed that the role of the field was the main factor in reaching this result, saying: “If the resistance had not been in the field, and if it had not been for the great, legendary martyrdom youth who filled the world with their refined role model, ready to sacrifice lives, money, shed blood, and lose homes, families, and everything, just in order to remain standing and prevent the occupation from achieving its goals, if they had not been present in the field, we would not have reached this result.” He continued: “If we had not had Mr. Hassan, the martyred leaders, the wounded, the prisoners, and the great families who rallied around the resistance, and if we had not had this exceptional preparation, we would not have broken the project. So the field is the foundation.” He pointed out that some were responding to the resistance’s talk about the field by saying that it was not stronger than the Israeli entity, adding: “Who said that we are stronger than the Israeli entity? We say that we are in the field, and the Israeli entity in the field will not bear it, and cannot achieve its goals even if it takes a long time. So, if the field fell, the Israeli entity would have taken a step in its project to end Hezbollah and achieve the Greater Israel project, but the steadfastness of the field broke the project.” He pointed out that political pressure was exerted on the resistance during the war, saying: “They were putting a lot of pressure on us, some politicians, some countries, and some who were calling us, and saying: Brother, what are you doing? The Israeli entity is strong and you are not stronger than it. Yes, we know that the Israeli entity is strong, but who said that we accept to give the Israeli entity because it is strong? This is our right, and our right we will not give up on it.” He added: “Let him manage his affairs, and you manage your affairs if you are afraid, helpless, or complicit. This is your business and his business. They say that there are victims and great costs, and we say to them: Relax, we have made our decision and are prepared to pay the price.” He stressed that “if the strongest takes at a time when we concede, he will take more and more after the concession. Whoever you give and do not stand up to, who will stand up to him later?” He considered that resistance constitutes the only guarantee for liberating the land and preserving independence and sovereignty, saying: “Hence, we are convinced that the only guarantee for liberating the land, independence, and sovereignty is resistance in the face of occupation. And by resistance I mean not only our resistance, but every individual who resists, and what is required of every individual is to resist, and for all of us to cooperate to resist, an army, a people, resistance, and all people.” He added: “The only guarantee is resistance. They told us that the United States guarantees, and it guaranteed, the November 27 agreement, but it disavowed it and said it did not guarantee, and it turned out that there was an agreement between it and the Israeli entity to continue the attacks. The United States is not a guarantor.” He continued: “Who guarantees? The Security Council? The Arab and Islamic countries? The major powers? No one is able to guarantee, if we do not say that some already guarantee that we will be eliminated, and do not guarantee that they will give us our rights and the right of Lebanon.” He stressed that the resistance force is based on the “triple force,” saying: “There is no guarantor except our strength. Our resistance force is based on the triple force: faith, will, and ability.” He pointed out that the resistance was able to withstand because it considered its only option to be confrontation, saying: “If we have hope of achieving something, we can achieve it through resistance. This was our conviction and on this basis we worked, so we remained steadfast, and therefore we endured, because we consider this to be a single option. As for the other option, it is called surrender, that is, losing everything, and there is no third option.” He said: “Praise be to God that our principle and faith gave us more strength and compensated for our limited capabilities. If I wanted to compare the strength of the resistance to the strength of the Israeli entity and say that with the strength of the resistance I want to defeat the Israeli entity, my words would be incorrect, as it is impossible by the strength of military resistance alone to break the military strength of the Israeli entity. But if we add to the strength of the resistance the strength of faith and the strength of will, that is, we bring two forces in addition to ability, then the matter becomes different. My brother, these are structural ideas that have to do with convictions. You who have other ideas, where did you get your structural ideas from? You brought them from a global thinker, from capitalism, from communism, from France, from Britain, I don’t know where, from Confucius, my brother. You bring ideas from everywhere, and no one asks you who. Where do you get your ideas? These are all essential components of our principles on which we work.” He explained: “How can you translate your intellectual and cultural differences within one country? When we are in one country, we either all have one opinion and apply these ideas, or we are different and try to find commonalities to cooperate with each other to live on one land in agreement among ourselves. This is what happens in Lebanon and in many countries.” He pointed out that “Hezbollah announced several times that it supports the Taif Agreement, the Constitution, and the way it deals with public affairs, but it remains a group that believes in these ideas and convictions and wants to implement them, and it deals with others in a way that is proportionate to the scope of participation that exists in the different convictions.” He said: “There is no conflict at all, and we have one of the most important experiences, which is the experience of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and how it worked on the basis of its convictions, and at the same time it is part of the Lebanese structure and the Lebanese political situation, and adheres to the controls and laws. There is no conflict on this issue.” He added: “You tell me patriotism, patriotism in the field. The one who fights is the patriot more than any other patriot, and the one who sheds his blood for the land more than any other patriot. As for the one who gives lectures about patriotism, and when he faces difficulty, he packs his bags and travels, is this patriotism? Patriotism must give.” He continued: “Our experience is stark and clear. Some people who talk about patriotism inside Lebanon, look at their history, did not blame anyone, and committed massacres to remain alone. They call for division and federalism and raise certain concerns. Why, my brother? Because you are not hegemonic or in control. Why do you want to dominate and control? Cooperate with others, as there are rules, regulations and laws.” Sheikh Qassim affirmed by saying: “When we fought the battles against the Israeli enemy in order to liberate our land, our country, ourselves and our lives and defend our existence, they did not leave behind a conspiracy in which they conspired to cause strife in the country and incite others, and they were with the Israeli entity against us. Why, my brother? Can’t you live like this? The Israeli entity does not originally respect anyone, and will not keep anyone. At least we can reach an understanding with you and deal with you to reach a result, and the experience is before us.” Patience was part of the field, and Iran refused to end the war against it before ending the war on Lebanon. The Secretary-General of Hezbollah confirmed that the period of patience, which lasted 15 months, was part of the field confrontation and not a retreat, indicating that the decision to move to combat was taken at the time when the resistance saw it as the most appropriate to engage in the battle. Sheikh Qassim said: “We were patient for 15 months, and patience was part of the battlefield. Do not think that patience was a retreat. When we saw that the right moment came on March 2, we fought this battle and this opportunity.” He added: “I will not discuss its reasons and introductions, but I want to tell you something. We moved from patience in the field to fighting in the field on March 2 with a clear and decisive decision, because we considered that this timing and these circumstances were appropriate, and thank God it turned out that we had entered into the movement of relying on Iran, thus adding strength to the three forces we have.” He continued: “They began to say to us: Why did you enter now? And why did you and Iran enter? Do you know that approximately two or three weeks before the battle against Iran and the war against it, there was not an Arab or international envoy, and even some pillars of power, left who did not ask us: If the United States fights Iran, and if the Israeli entity fights Iran, will you intervene?” He pointed out that the resistance did not provide an answer to these questions, adding: “No one took an answer from us. We asked them why are you asking this question? They said that the Israeli entity says that if you do not intervene, it will not attack you, and thus it will continue its battle with Iran and you will be neutralized during this period.” He added: “We asked them: What will happen after this period? They said: We do not know. You do not know? What do you want to do? You say that you want to go to confront Iran in order to reduce its ability and power and the people who can fight with it, on the basis that you will be finished with Iran and then come to finish us off and kill us one by one.” Sheikh Qassim stressed that the resistance did not give a prior answer regarding its position, saying: “We did not give an answer, and we should not give an answer, and when we entered the battle and Iran was in the field, we benefited from them and they benefited from us, and these were the results.” He considered that the United States, the Israeli entity, and those with them did not expect Iran or Hezbollah to remain steadfast, adding: “They were astonished at how Hezbollah entered on March 2 with this exceptional force and this sincere determination, because they do not know us, and they do not know that we have decided on our options.” He said: “Praise be to God, we were able to reach a stage in which the timing, the choice, fighting the battle, and all the steps we took were very important factors that bore fruit on the field in favor of the ceasefire that happened now as a first step, and must be followed by the step of complete withdrawal from Lebanese territory.” Sheikh Qassim thanked Iran, saying: “We thank Iran, and we tell you that you are the most honorable in the world. All the countries surrounding you will build the best relations with you, because it turns out that whoever was promising them protection and achieving the goal of confronting Iran, which is an unnecessary confrontation, was not honest.” He added: “They are brothers in religion, brothers in the region, and brothers in the life that exists in our region, but because they want to tear the world apart and use everything for the benefit of the Israeli entity and the United States, they have now discovered that Iran is reliable, that it can stand up, and that it has loyalty and honesty.” He pointed out that Iran “did not accept to go through an agreement to end the war against it except by ending the war on Lebanon,” asking: “Is there a country or group in the world that does that?” He continued: “We were reading analyzes saying that Iran is making agreements, selling Hezbollah, and stopping funding on the basis that its interest is more important than Hezbollah’s interest, but these people do not know Iran nor Leader Khamenei, nor do they know the Iranian people or the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.” He said: “These are a group of nobles and nobles, who were raised on the path of Imam Hussein, may God Almighty’s peace be upon him. They supported Palestine and the oppressed, and they bore all the burdens for 47 years because they wanted to achieve the truth on the path of Imam Hussein, may God’s peace be upon him.” The Israeli entity has no choice but to withdraw completely from Lebanese territory and implement the terms of the ceasefire. The Secretary-General of Hezbollah confirmed that the Israeli aggression failed to achieve its goals and that its project was broken, stressing that the resistance is still present, ready and continuing, and that what is required today is the full restoration of Lebanese rights and an end to the attacks. Sheikh Qassim said: “The result we want to reach, what is the scene now? First, there is an Israeli aggression that failed to achieve its goals and its project was defeated. Secondly, there is a resistance, a people and a nation that paid great sacrifices and persevered, and the resistance is still standing and ready and will continue.” He added: “What we want are our rights, our land, and our sovereignty. We want to liberate Lebanon and stop the aggression. As for the allegations that he is afraid for his security and has the right to protect his security, if he is afraid for his security, then he has undermined all of our security. Do we treat the one who blew up everything, or do we treat the one who says he is afraid?” He continued: “It is also an occupier in Palestine, meaning it has no legitimacy at all in the region. We are the legitimacy, and the Palestinians are the legitimacy.” He pointed out that the current stage requires full implementation of the ceasefire, saying: “We now have a ceasefire, and the withdrawal must take place within a timetable. The Israeli entity has no choice but to completely withdraw from all Lebanese territory, without retaining any inch and under any heading.” He stressed the necessity of implementing the “five points”, which are: “a complete cessation of aggression by air, land and sea, Israeli withdrawal, the deployment of the Lebanese army, the return of prisoners, the return of the people to the last borders, and reconstruction.” He added: “These points are our right to be implemented. The Israeli entity withdraws and the Lebanese army deploys exclusively in the south of the Litani. We cooperate with the Lebanese army to the maximum extent within the framework of mutual security, just as we cooperated from November 27 onwards during 15 months.” Sheikh Qassim stressed that what is agreed upon internally is a Lebanese matter, saying: “The Israeli entity has no involvement in what we agree on at the internal Lebanese level, and it must be prevented from interfering, asking, or knowing. It has nothing to do with knowing what we will do in the future, and it has no right to this interference.” He said, “Now the political authority in Lebanon has a proven guarantee called resistance, the most honorable resistance that broke the tyranny of the United States and the Israeli entity, and prevented the Israeli entity from achieving its goals. We say to you: Take advantage of this resistance to be strong in the face of challenges, and we are present, and everything is for its account and the lentils for its soil.”
