The government media office in Gaza confirmed on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army bombed the Gaza Strip with more than 45,000 missiles and bombs, weighing more than 65,000 tons of explosives, “which is more than the weight and power of 3 nuclear bombs.”

The office said in a statement issued by the Palestinian Information Center, “The Israeli occupation aircraft dropped more than 45,000 missiles and giant bombs on the Gaza Strip during the comprehensive genocidal war, some of which weighed 2,000 pounds of explosives.”

65 thousand tons of explosives

He noted that “the occupation deliberately bombed entire residential squares, which led to the death toll of hundreds of martyrs in a single bombing.”

He explained by saying: “The weight of the explosives dropped by the occupation army from its planes on the Gaza Strip exceeded 65 thousand tons, which is more than the weight and power of three nuclear bombs such as those dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima.”

He pointed out that “about two-thirds of the bombs and missiles dropped by the Israeli occupation aircraft on Gaza cities were unguided and inaccurate bombs (stupid bombs), which indicates the occupation’s intention to carry out indiscriminate and unjustified killing, which is a clear and clear violation of international law and various international agreements.”

Internationally prohibited weapons

He explained that “the most prominent internationally banned weapons used by the occupation army against civilians, children, and women in the Gaza Strip are the BLU-113 bunker buster bombs, the BLU-109 bunker buster bombs, and the SDBS bunker buster bombs.” American GBU-28 bombs, Halper missiles, GPS-guided bombs with the aim of destroying infrastructure, internationally banned white phosphorus bombs, stupid or unguided bombs, and smart JDAM bombs.”

The statement continued: “The most prominent symptoms and dangers of these internationally prohibited weapons used by the occupation army are mass killing and wounding that inflict the largest possible number of victims within a few seconds, as happened in the areas of Al-Rimal Al-Shamali, Jabalia, Al-Shuja’iya, and Al-Bureij, where hundreds of martyrs were martyred at once.”

The office stated, “These weapons cause permanent damage to victims, such as deformities, permanent disabilities, and amputations, and this is evident among the victims and the injured in particular in all hospitals, in addition to significant environmental pollution, through the release of toxic radiation, which causes pollution of the air, water, and environment throughout the country.” For years and generations to come.”

Since October 7, the Israeli occupation has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, as its planes bomb hospitals, buildings, towers, and homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them above the heads of their residents, and preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.

The aggression led to massive destruction of infrastructure, an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, and the death toll of 22,313 martyrs, in addition to the injury of 57,296 others, most of them children and women.
