In the long term, Dubai Cares aims to play a leadership role in reshaping the global education landscape through “Rewired”, a global education summit hosted by Dubai Cares during Expo 2020 Dubai, in December 2021. Through “Rewired”, we aim to go beyond the boundaries of current thinking to explore new approaches and partnerships to address global challenges in education. We hope that the Asian Business Leadership Forum will provide an incentive for Asian enterprises to join our efforts and take the Rewired Summit to a higher level.” Commenting on the session, Saadia Zahidi said: “There is widespread concern about the changes in education for girls when they return to school, especially as they are assigned more household chores and have less time to learn.” Prioritizing inclusion: For her part, Stefania Giannini said: “There are three ways to support the education sector during the pandemic, which are: prioritizing inclusion, supporting teachers, and making technology an engine of innovation.” A technology-led future.
