Member of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi, called on the Netherlands not to be drawn into a battle in the Red Sea, and to put pressure on “Israel” to stop its aggression against the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with Dutch television NOS, the member of the Supreme Political Council reiterated that the Yemeni demands to stop genocide, terrorism and aggression against the people of Gaza and the Palestinian people and to lift the siege are purely humanitarian demands.

He said: “If the Dutch want to work to secure international navigation and prevent the outbreak of wars, they must put pressure on Israel to stop its aggression and lift the siege on two million and one hundred thousand people inside Gaza, both Muslims and Christians.”

The senior political member downplayed the American intimidation and the ability to form an alliance against Yemen and said, “America was unable to do anything today, and it is too incapable to be present in another alliance, and the more warships in the Red Sea, the more they become easy prey for our armed forces, our missiles, our planes, our gunboats, and everything else.” “We can reach it. We have a good arsenal, and American ships and battleships are known to have been built in a different era.”

In the interview, the senior political member addressed several issues that confirm the steadfastness of the position of the Republic of Yemen in supporting the Palestinian people and developments in the situation in the Red and Arab Bahrain and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Dutch Television: Why did you make the decision to attack international ships? What do you want to say to the world by taking this step?

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Muhammad Ali Al-Houthi: We did not take a decision to attack international ships, but rather we took the decision to target ships belonging to the usurping, occupying Israeli entity that commits crimes and genocide and besieges the Palestinian people of food and medicine, and after we warned and called for the lifting of the siege on the people of Gaza. Therefore, we are doing humanitarian work in the face of Israeli-American arrogance. This is what we do and this is what we do. The rest of the international ships in international navigation enjoy their freedom and safety unless the country that owns them participates in the attack on our country.

Dutch TV: What ships are you attacking? Are the ships only with links to Israel or others?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: As the Armed Forces announced and the Commander – may God protect him – announced in his well-known speech that we attack “any ship linked to Israel or heading to the occupied territories to provide logistical services or other transport of supplies to the usurping, occupying entity that is exterminating the people of Palestine and committing crimes, massacres and terrorism.” Against the people of Gaza. These are humanitarian demands. We say, stop the genocide, stop terrorism for the people of Palestine. If we achieve these things, there will be no interception of any ship in the Red Sea, in the Gulf of Aden, in the Arabian Sea, or in Bab al-Mandab.

Dutch TV: What would it mean for the international community to prepare a so-called “Guardian of Prosperity” coalition? If Yemen were put on trial in response to this, what would that mean for the Yemeni people?

Member of the Political Council: It will mean that they militarized the Red Sea, it will mean that they prevented international navigation from passing through, it will mean that they bear the escalation, it will mean that all its consequences are borne by America and those who stand by it in this alliance.

We tell them: America was unable to do anything today, and it is too incapable to be in another alliance, and the more warships there are in the Red Sea, the more they will be easy prey for our armed forces, our missiles, our planes, our gunboats, and everything we can reach. We have a good arsenal, and American ships and battleships are known to have been built outside of this era.

Dutch TV: What will be the impression or opinion of the Yemeni people when this happens? I mean, how will the Yemeni people react?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: The Yemeni people stand with one heart to confront the dangers in the face of any aggression against our country. They move with everything they have, they go out in the squares to condemn what is happening in Gaza, so there is no worry. The Yemeni people are present and have full and sufficient awareness and know that this battle must take place in order to stop the aggression against Gaza and in order to bring water, food, medicine and petroleum derivatives to two million and one hundred thousand people who are besieged today and exterminated in front of the world without any reaction. Why do they go to protect this crime? Why do they turn to the coalition to protect Israeli ships so that Israel continues to commit massacres, crimes, and terrorism against the Palestinian people without disturbance? This is what America wants: for Israel to continue to exterminate Arabs and Muslims and even to exterminate Christians inside Gaza without any action posing a source of inconvenience to Israel. All ships are safe unless the state moves to support this usurping, terrorist, criminal entity that commits horrific massacres and deals with… in Gaza with greater crimes than those attributed to Hitler in World War II. Today, they are committing greater crimes inside Gaza than what Hitler committed, without anyone stopping them, but rather working to support them, as is the case with this coalition.

Dutch Television: We visited the ship “Galaxy Leader”. Can you tell us something about it?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: You saw the sailors present, comfortable and unharmed. The ship was also unharmed. The ship will remain “Galaxy” until the aggression ends and the siege imposed on the people of Gaza is lifted. We told the Palestinian brothers that the ship is at their disposal and they can negotiate about it.

Dutch Television: With whom do you negotiate directly to end this situation and find a solution?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: We did not negotiate directly with the Americans, even though he requests that there be direct negotiations, but we refuse and do not believe that we can engage in dialogue with the Americans because we see the Americans as a terrorist criminal who works with everything in his power to continue crimes and massacres, so we are not honored to dialogue with them directly. . Let there be communication through our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman with our negotiating team there and the dialogue be conducted in this way.

Dutch TV: How do you know which ships or ship have a connection to Israel?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: This is the work of the Armed Forces, and the Armed Forces have strong intelligence agencies and have very large sources of information. There are also many Arabs who can pass on their information to us, and we as an Arab nation can access our information with greater ease than the American can.

Dutch Television: Can you tell us something about your relationship with the Palestinians, Hamas, and the Axis of Resistance?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: Our relationship with them is an Islamic relationship based on faith and Islamic brotherhood. We move because we see great injustice before us. We hear the groaning of the people of Gaza. We hear the groaning of the children. We know the magnitude and horror of these massacres being committed against the people of Gaza. We suffered from this American-Saudi-Emirati coalition terrorism that is launching against us and besieging us until today. Therefore, when we move, we move from this standpoint. The Yemeni people suffered during nine years of war of extermination, from American missiles, from American planes, from American bombs, from targeting everything. They targeted our hospitals as they targeted them in Gaza, and they made the ports of Hodeidah and Hodeidah a military target, just as they made Gaza a military target. They targeted our schools as they targeted them. In Gaza, they targeted our infrastructure as they targeted it in Gaza. They targeted civilian objects with us as they targeted them in Gaza. Everything was targeted here: men, children, adults, young people, unarmed civilians. Everything was targeted in the Republic of Yemen as it is being targeted today in Gaza. The criminal is one, the planner is one, and the administration is one. An American administration is leading the war in Gaza as it led it in Yemen. Therefore, we are moving in the face of one enemy, and we are confronting them in order to preserve humanity and to have a role, and we are honored to have a role in supporting our brothers in Palestine.

Dutch TV: Last question, Professor, many ships no longer travel to the Red Sea due to security concerns. Does this affect global trade and the global economy?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: What affects global trade and international navigation is the American presence within the Red Sea. We say to the American and we say to others: If you claim that there is a “high seas” law, we have not yet believed it until we see the Russian cruiser present in front of Florida, and we see the Chinese barges present in international waters in front of American shores, when we see the Korean submarine present in international waters in front of Florida or elsewhere. From American shores, we will learn that you are applying international law. As for us, we see that the international law you are talking about was buried under the rubble of the American raids in our country, and today it is buried inside Gaza, and all the slogans raised by America or those allied with it that it is the protector of humanity or the protector of international navigation do not exist. They are the ones who constantly work to disturb public peace. America works to provoke wars. Today, it is calling for an alliance, “Operation Prosperity,” as they say, in order to continue the battle. This is adding fuel to the fire, by coming to militarize the Red Sea in order to stop the operation. They know that they cannot achieve what they want, and we can strike with our missiles from any point on land to any point in the Red Sea or in the areas identified by the operations of the Yemeni armed forces. So everything they do is nonsense. What they are doing is merely intimidating international navigation. We call on them to stop this and to turn to the ideal solution, which is to stop the aggression and lift the siege imposed on the people of Gaza.

Dutch Television: We heard that the Netherlands is participating in the “Guardian of Prosperity” coalition. What do you think of that?

Member of the Supreme Political Council: We call on the Dutch not to be drawn into the battle and not to see the American advertisements as valid advertisements. If the Dutch want to work to secure international navigation and prevent the outbreak of wars, they must put pressure on Israel to stop its aggression and lift the siege on two million and one hundred people inside Gaza, both Muslims and Christians there.
