He stressed that the Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration, affiliated with the Chamber, achieved many achievements during the year 2025, as it began implementing its new rules, and organized and participated in many conferences, seminars, and workshops related to arbitration and mediation. It also participated externally in a number of arbitration conferences and events, and organized a number of training courses and workshops, including the program for qualifying and training arbitrators in cooperation with Qatar University. He continued: The International Chamber of Commerce Qatar witnessed many important activities and events during the year 2025, as it launched the Environment and Energy Committee in cooperation with the Al-Attiyah Foundation, which is a pioneering initiative aimed at stimulating the role of the private sector in advancing the goals of the State of Qatar related to sustainable energy and climate, in addition to organizing conferences and seminars, most notably the activities of the Qatar Summit for Transformation in Trade and Treasury 2025, which was organized for the first time in Qatar with the participation of an elite group of prominent experts and speakers from various countries of the world, in addition to participating in the 14th International Chambers Congress in Australia and many conferences and events held inside or outside the country. Digitization and Artificial Intelligence His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber, stated that the Chamber seeks to benefit from modern technologies such as digitization and artificial intelligence in developing its services for its members. Therefore, the Chamber has greatly developed its digital structure through cooperation with major technology companies, and has provided many of its services electronically. In the coming period, it also seeks to add more improvements to its digital system to provide all its services in a digital format to facilitate its members and the Qatari business community. He stressed that digital transformation contributed to transforming many of the chamber’s services into distinctive electronic services available around the clock, which contributed to significantly reducing the time for completing transactions, raising the level of satisfaction of companies affiliated with the chamber, and enhancing operational efficiency. This digital transformation comes within the framework of the Chamber’s vision to enhance the competitiveness of the business sector in Qatar, harmonize with the country’s trends towards the knowledge economy, and provide a modern business environment that supports innovation and investment. In this context, His Excellency highlighted the implementation of a number of qualitative projects by the Qatar Chamber over the past years, the most prominent of which are: the unified electronic services platform that allows the issuance of certificates and commercial documents in a completely automated manner, and the smart verification system for certificates using encryption and QR code technologies to ensure the credibility of documents and the ease of verifying them locally and internationally. The Chamber is currently working on implementing interactive portals supported by artificial intelligence to immediately respond to companies’ inquiries and enable them to follow up on their transactions without the need to visit the Chamber’s headquarters. He pointed out that the Chamber is looking forward to a more active and vibrant period, especially with the move to the new headquarters in Lusail, which coincides with the boom that the country is witnessing in all fields, adding: We have a lot to accomplish within the framework of the Chamber’s 2025-2030 strategy, which is based on an ambitious vision that aims to strengthen Qatar’s position as an attractive global center for business and a major supporter of the private sector. The strategy focuses on developing the business environment, empowering small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs, and moving to an integrated digital economy through digitizing services and launching innovative electronic platforms that support marketing and trade. It also includes enhancing the chamber’s efficiency, raising the quality of its services, expanding the database and commercial information, supporting international partnerships, in addition to investing in human capital development and developing the skills of workers in the private sector.
