They were the society that carried the banner of pre-Islamic times, fought Islam, and were hostile to the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, more than any other Arab society. They made the Holy Mecca a hotbed of disbelief and a starting point for mobilizing fighters against the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and those with him among the Muslims, in all stages of the conflict in which they moved themselves, their money, and their influence against Islam, and made alliances with the Jews and others. If one is stingy, it is those who are successful.}[الحشر:9]They were a society free from materialistic orientation, a generous, patient, benevolent society, capable of building faith, {they love those who migrated to them}, a society known for altruism even in difficult circumstances, and free from selfishness and material ambitions; They achieved the great honor of embracing the message and supporting the Messenger, may God bless him and his family, and God called them (the Ansar), a designation from God, and this is a great honor. They were the community that sheltered the Messenger and the immigrants, and in whose arena the Nation of Islam and the Islamic State were formed. They overcame the difficult stages with patience, sacrifice, altruism, and trust in God Almighty, under the leadership of the Messenger of God Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, until God fulfilled His promise of the clear conquest, the empowerment of Islam, the disappearance of ignorance, and the sovereignty of the true divine religion, as the Almighty said: {It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists hate it.}[التوبة:33]The result was success for that society, and they attained the good of this world and the hereafter associated with uprightness in that. Those qualifications – which prepared them for the great honor by which success is achieved – remain essential in every time and for every generation. Our dear Muslim Yemeni people, Yemen of faith and wisdom, as in the noble Prophet’s hadith, deserve to continue to consolidate those principles and values, to have those qualifications, to continue carrying the banner of Islam, and to confront the dark, arrogant ignorance of the age, whose banner is carried by America and Israel, and which is driven by the Jews and global Zionism, which has been exposed by its crimes in Palestine and its aggression against our Islamic nation in Lebanon, Iran and Yemen.
